Halloween Party Food Tags

I don't know about you, but I like to know what I'm eating before I eat it. If I eat at a buffet, I appreciate having name tags alongside all of the food. I certainly don't want to bite into a little nugget of fried alligator thinking it is chicken. I might be adventurous enough to try alligator or perhaps not, but I want to make that choice. I also have food allergies and nothing is more embarrassing than popping what looks like a yummy morsel into my mouth and feeling the crunch of a pecan. I have to find a way to politely spit it out without insulting the cook. So when I host a party, I always create food tags for each dish. I usually just write the name of the dish and a brief description. I like to give my Halloween party foods fun names so it enhances the entire party experience. If you cook with any foods, like peanuts or shellfish, that can cause an allergic reaction, make sure you note that on your food tags.
I've created templates that you can use to re-create these food tags for your parties.  You can print them out and simply hand write the names of your dishes on each card. If you have a photo software program like Photoshop just import the pdf files and add your text. Once printed, just cut along the dotted lines and fold each card in half.
