Special Thanks to my illustrator, Katya, and my editor, Cheri.

I am so grateful to have amazingly talented people in my life.  Two in particular contributed to my book, Hungry Halloween, and I want to thank them both for sharing their talents with me and my readers.  My daughter, Ekaterina (Katya) Selivanova created amazing drawings for my book that captured the essence of each chapter perfectly.  Katya took time out of her incredible busy schedule at her university, to help make my book look colorful and clever.  My friend, Cheri Burns, not only painstakingly edited my book, but she also helped me brainstorm book and recipe names.  When I asked her to help me write a book synopsis, she used her amazing writing skills to perfectly showcase all that my book has to offer. Thank you both for your wonderful contributions to Hungry Halloween.

Hungry Halloween is a groovy book! I'm intrigued by the unique collaboration here - with illustrations and editing.

Knowing a bit more background than the average Josephina, I have a picture of the illustrator, then in high school, dressed up for Halloween enjoying our American holiday and ghoulish customs for the very first time.

How extremely special that a handful of years later connecting across oceans enabled the production of such a "bewitched buffet of treats."

Chocolate-covered Congratulations, Ladies!!!!

Keri,

I knew that Katya would create the perfect images for my book. She is so talented and clever. I told her my vision, and she put it on paper, just as I had imagined.

Halloween holds a special place in her heart. I can still remember the smile on her face when she arrived home with a bag full of FREE candy. She just couldn't get over the fact that here in America we pass out candy to kids on Halloween. It is one tradition she would love to start in Russia. Maybe in the future, it will happen. Anything is possible when you dare to dream!
